Copyright © 2008 by Avi Biran The design shows the timbrel that was used while dancing after crossing the Red Sea and singing Shirat Hayam (Song of the Sea). The cup passes through the timbrel like a well that goes into ground. Miriam was called a prophetess because she knew where to locate underground water during their travel in the desert. When shaking the cup, sounds of the joy are heard. |
